Does napping help the immune system?
It helps on the margin — as a supplement, not a substitute. A twenty-to-thirty-minute nap (not longer, to avoid entering deep sleep and becoming difficult to wake from) can partially offset some of the immune burden from inadequate nighttime sleep, and studies show brief naps support some recovery of NK cell activity. But napping cannot replicate the systematic cell repair or the immune memory consolidation that only nighttime deep sleep provides.

Same cost. Sleeping well the night you get your shot could effectively double the protection you receive. That's not a recommendation — it's data.
