Don't skip follow-up because 'there are no symptoms' — early liver cancer has almost no symptoms; regular testing is how to find treatable early lesions. Current guidelines have significantly lowered the threshold for starting antiviral treatment — if viral load is continuously detectable, seriously discuss with a hepatologist whether to initiate treatment.
